An intergenerational group of 18 individuals will be travelling to Thika, Kenya with African Christian International from March 8 to 22nd.

Thurs., March 8 – Depart Pearson Int’l, 5:50 p.m. Change planes in Amsterdam.
Fri., March 9 – Arrive Nairobi, Int’l, 8:20 p.m. Transport to Blue Posts Hotel,
Thika.
Sat., March 10 – Introductions, tour and orientation to worksite, recover from jet
lag.
Sun., March 11 – Worship with main church in Thika, then later in a daughter church.
Mon., March 12 – Sat. March 17
– morning to early afternoon. Help with construction of Leadership Training
Institute (Vision Village). A few rooms are complete. Building funds will be
used to put a slab on the first floor.
- late afternoon to early evening – open air meetings in a nearby village for
six days. Our team will assist a local team with preaching, singing,
testimonies as well as prayer ministry after the meetings. We will also help
with prayer, skits (and candy?) with the many children who come.
- During this week we will assist in serving a meal to children in a slum,
distribute some of the clothing we take, and possibly visit an orphanage
- We will lodge with host families during this week.
Sun., March 18 – Worship at two churches.
Mon., March 19 – Depart for Masia Mara Game Preserve safari, return Wed., March 21
Thurs., March 22. – Debrief. Say goodbye to our hosts. Depart Nairobi Int’l, 10:45
p.m.
